we got her from the vet today. she was wrapped in the blanket we took her in, was ice cold and rigid. beforehand we went and bought this beautiful cardboard chest covered in flowers and butterflies with a latch on it. unwrapping her was really hard, but even though she was gone I covered her in kisses. while alex and my mum dug her grave, I just held her, crying. after spending the night at the apartment, I get home to find my childhood dog really not doing well. This is the one that has bladder cancer and my mum hasn’t been able to get her to eat.
